I spent a magical few weeks at Fare Vahine Oviri in December 2024. The host (Johnny) and his wonderful parents (Nuie Nuie and Claude) immersed me in French Polynesian culture which has left a strong and lasting impression on me. The self contained facilities in the villa were very good. The villa is situated at the water's edge. It was so easy to engage in snorkelling and swimming. I was even invited to partake in a community group canoeing practice session which was memorable. The villa is situated approximately 13km from the centre of the town, in a quiet location near the botanical gardens. There are lots of additional activities available which can be arranged or advise sought by Johnny. Can't wait to return.

La Maison Du Voyage is a recently renovated holiday home in Tevaitoa, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath and garden. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Located in Taputapuapea in the Raiatea region, SofPat Plage Raiatea features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Picked up at the Airport by very friendly owner who gave us both Lai's and taken directly to a supermarket to purchase our food, then straight to our Lodgings. Very nice house, in a good location right on a beach. Kayaks provided to use to get to edge of reef for some really good snorkeling. Close to Taputaputea and other good walks that we really enjoyed. Great that it came with a car as Raiatea is a big island. We normally have hired scooters on other islands but a car was good to have on Raiatea.

Everything was exceptional. the French hostess/owner was charming and very accommodating. The included breakfast of French pastries and tropical fruits was excellent.

Jeff and Tepairu were the most amazing hosts, this accomodation is situated in a beautiful lagoon that we were lucky enough to swim in every night and every morning. Beautiful amenities, an easy six minute bike ride to the local store to fill up on essentials.

Set in Tevaitoa, Fare Tetahora offers free WiFi, private parking and guests can enjoy a private beach area and an open-air bath. The location was perfect for kayaking and snorkeling. It was wonderful to have our own private beach and entrance to the water. The family that helps on the property was also super nice and extremely accommodating to anything we needed.
