Although it has been completely renovated, many of the historical elements were retained resulting in a combination of modern and traditional. Both the exterior and interior are stunning. The entire property, including the pool, were beautifully maintained. All the areas, including our room, were spotless, the bed was very comfortable and our breakfast in the morning was delicious. The apartment faced a pastoral landscape. The staff was very friendly. I would like to mention Bruna who helped with a personal issue and showed patience and empathy. Just great. And so did Anna who welcomed us like family every morning at breakfast. A wonderful and warm woman. The food was of high quality and very tasty. Anna made delicious cakes. The whole house is very nicely decorated and furnished.

Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.

The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with charming details like fresh flowers on the towels. We also appreciated the bowl of sweets and fruits she had prepared, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The rooms were cozy, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Deolinda's hospitality and attention to detail. We would happily return!
