Everything was really amazing! The room, the location, the view , the staff. Everything was super clean. High standard of hygiene and good products to use for shower. The mattress was amazing. We love the design too. The breakfast was made from high quality products. The menus at restaurants was the greatest option for our dinner. The waiter, Antonio, as well Emanuel in reception and the other staff was very polite. The hotel provided us a tour at the winery and wine tasting, so we have the chance to taste the wines and to buy our favourites to take them back to our country. Really thank you about everything !

The host was very kind and she gives us a lots of great suggestion to place to visit and restaurants near by. We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. This place is very quiet and you can enjoy a relaxing time here. Special mention to the breakfast was very awesome! Highly recommend

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. This property is basically a cluster of three houses, with the inn/bedrooms in a delightful, renovated traditional multi-story house, and the dining and reception space in the main house. The owner Miguel was born to be a host. He was quite literally one of the nicest and most outgoing person that I have met. The highlight of the stay is the evening meal, complete with reception, then communal dining with multi-course homemade cuisine and his estate wine. The meal was akin to a United Nations social, with Miguel happily chatting (in multiple languages) with the guests as he worked. One of the highlights of our trip to the Douro Valley.

This place is perfect in every way. A new build and business. The owners go out of their way to help with whatever you need or may want. The hospitality is second to none. Highly recommended. We would have loved to have stayed longer, enjoyed the share fireplace and common areas and shared a drink or two here - (but the flu meant we didn't get to make use of it as we should have! we will come back!

We booked a weekend getaway there and everything went so well: the rooms are new, clean, the view is fantastic, the host is friendly, that’s a true hidden gem in Douro! Perfect value for money.
