Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

I Porumbacu de Sus, 33 kilometer fra Piața Unirii (Unionsplassen) og 34 kilometer fra Trappepassasjen i Sibiu, ligger Porumbacu381 - Casa de Oaspeti Faini. Such a beautiful place in a special area. The place is completely new, run by a young couple and you can see in every room how much effort they put it. So many nice details besides the quality chosen. We loved everything about it and we wish we could've stayed longer!

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available if we needed anything. There's also a convenient parking spot on-site, which made our stay even more comfortable. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and attention to detail throughout the property. Highly recommended — we can't wait to come back!

Incredible location with very nice view. The room was very sweet and cozy.The breakfast was perfect and the hosts were very polite, discreet, and kept bringing food (I think I got a kilo or two :P )

Angela is a great host. So welcoming and friendly. We had a great short stay on our way to Transfagarasan. The country house was beautiful, with many fruit trees (apples, pears) in the yard. The spacious apartment is on the second floor of the house with a separate entrance and a nice balcony you can sit at. There is a full kitchen with everything you need.
