Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

Very welcoming host. Big kitchen with all appliances. Great view on nature around, like mountains. Great startingpoint for Transfagarașan Highway (north to south direction).

Waw , the cottage was amazing, very warm place ! The breakfast was very nice and the place very quiet. The hosts was very friendly and helpful! They were waiting for us with a hot tea and nice carrots cake .

We had a great short stay on our way to Transfagarasan. The country house was beautiful, with many fruit trees (apples, pears) in the yard. The spacious apartment is on the second floor of the house with a separate entrance and a nice balcony you can sit at. There is a full kitchen with everything you need.
