The location was excellent. Quiet with beautiful views of the countryside. Just a couple minutes drive to Greve in Chianti. The building -- an old monastery -- had great historic character and charm. In our room, above the bathroom door, the word "Archivium" (Archive) was carved in stone. The road to the property was narrow but we encountered only one car in our trips up and down the road.

Impeccable on the inside and ancient and original on the outside. Breakfast is amazing and they skillfully prepare your hot food/drinks like eggs/capucino on the spot, per your request.
