From the living room a view over lagoa Azul, just wonderful. The team is very friendly and helpful in anyway. Casa da cha “O Poejo” is by far the best place in the neighbourhood to lunch , dine or just stop for a beverage with snack or fresh pie. Very clean, housekeeping team is excellent.

The location is incredibly gorgeous on the bank of Lagoa Azul. The house is clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Andre provided a beautiful selection of foods for us, which was especially helpful because our flight was rescheduled and we arrived in the later evening after all the local stores were closed. When someone in my group suffered an unexpected injury, Andre saved the day and found us a wheelchair rental from a friend of his. His house is one version of my dream house and I cannot wait to return, especially with a host as accommodating, helpful, and friendly as Andre. Book this place, you will not regret it!

Very large but cosy house with amazing view! Beautiful sunset. House inside is a bit dark, but that is because it’s a fulltime restored old house and it is very well done.

The house was beautifully appointed and much bigger than expected. We loved the private terrace where we ate meals and the garden with the jacuzzi. We also loved the distance from the bedrooms to the living areas as you could be up early but not disturb your travelling companions. We appreciated the bowl of fresh fruit and breakfast supplies such as milk, local jam and the wonderful bread baked in Furnas, as well as the daily delivery of fresh buns. The house was immaculate and we appreciated the daily cleaning. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming.

It is a wonderful traditional house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Three bedrooms are double beds, two twin beds. There are three floors. Ground floor one bedrrom, middle one bedroom , kitchen, garden and a huge living and dining room. Third floor 3 bedrooms. It is more a chateua than a house, the kitchen and living room are amazing with lots of china, glasses, evrything is very elegant. Garden and grill, banana trees outside. Great for a family gathering or a big group of friends like us. Small shop and cafe next door.
