The place was amazing. We travel a lot for work and holidays around the world, but this is one of the best rooms we ever stayed in. Manuela made us feel like home, the interior is fully renovated, looks great. It is super quiet. If you are in the area, you won’t regret it!

This was a blissful oasis. Thank you to Rosa and the manager, Ana Maria, for taking care of our every need. Also thanks to the owners of the little grocery 100 metres away who took the time to tell us all about the wine in the region and even offered us a bottle from their private stock! We were delighted and touched. Be sure to visit the vineyard that’s Solar das Bouças, just a 15-minute walk away.

The Casa is in a very rural area, just beautiful, with an interesting history. Our host was very helpful. Because of the rain we were not able to take advantage of the nearby views, hikes and national parks. The nearby small town had everything we needed. The room was a bit dark but comfortable and quiet. We’d love to return for another go!

This hotel is a hidden gem. From the moment you drive up the estate, you are completely taken in by the beauty of the surroundings - the vineyards around you and the amazing architecture. The buildings have been beautifully restored and the design is impeccable. It was so amazing just sitting in the courtyard under beautiful tree, having a tasty meal and sipping on the house rose while watching the kids pick oranges from the orange trees or chase the robot lawnmower :) The service was outstanding. Thank you to Cristina for making our stay so wonderful and for leaving us a basket of food to take with us on our 4am departure. The service was so personal. Even the owner and his daughter were there multiple days welcoming guests and giving tours of the property - which my architect husband was super excited about. The nice surprise was that they were super kid friendly - my 2 year old and 4 year old loved staying at this hotel!
