Agriturismo Sarrabus self-catering apartments are located in rural Muravera, on the south-east coat of Sardinia. This is one of the most beautiful places where I've ever stayed. The bungalows are in the middle of the nature and the main building is reachable within a minute on foot. There is a huge park with playgrounds for children. The bungalows are very big and comfortable. The host was just amazingly friendly. It's also not too far from the sea (depending where you want to go. The best calas of the Costa Rei are located less than half an hour by car). If you want a place to relax with a romantic atmosphere and if you like communicating with your host, this is a unique experience. The food was also excellent.

Residenza di Campagna Dolmen Motorra is located in Dorgali. Free WiFi access is available in this country house, together with rooms with garden views. Beautiful property, lovely hosts and fantastic breakfast

Surrounded by the Sardinian countryside, Residenza di Campagna Seranile is 2 km from the centre of Dorgali. It features a 6-hectare garden with oak and olive trees plus a children's playground. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and helpful; the accommodation just perfect: quietly located, away from the hustle and bustle and yet well situated. Clean room, very good breakfast. Absolutely recommended, we will be happy to come back!

I Carrubi is located in the countryside, just 2 km from the coast and its beautiful beaches. Set in its garden featuring a patio, it offers rooms with a private bathroom, and a buffet-style breakfast.... Clean rooms, quiet natural area, great homemade breakfast and wonderful welcoming host.

Set inside Monte Ortobene Park, Casa Solotti is at an altitude of 820 metres. Just 4 km from Nuoro, this country house offers a peaceful location and a 3000 m² garden. Parking is free. The property is in the most beautiful setting over-looking a vast country side area. The rooms are spacious with balcony or garden. The charming host couple are friendly, cultured and helpful offering the best tips on where to visit.

Set at the foot of Mount Marganai, in the Valle del Cixerri, Saludi&Trigu - Rural Apartments is 10 minutes' drive from Iglesias. We stayed for a night on our way to Oristano - the agriturismo is perfectly positioned for those exploring Southern Sardinia, including Porto Flavia access, San Giovanni Caves, and more. Francesco the host was superb: not only we were provided with a lot of information about surrounding area, but they were super accommodating for everything else- I found two dog beds and food bowls arranged in the apartment a very lovely touch (we are travelling with two small dogs). Another aspect I loved about this agriturismo is that if you wish to have breakfast or dinner during your visit, you should book your choices in advance- in this way, unnecessary food waste is avoided. The food is delicious by the way too!

Located in the protected area of cork oaks, La Quercia is 17 km from the Costa Verde's beach and swimming pools. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage and a small fitness corner. Wow. We didn't know what to expect going into a less touristed region of the island. Come to find out, Marco and Johanne have created a home away from home and this was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Their hospitality — from recommendations to nightly meals — was everything we dreamt up for our holidays. We felt like we were part of the family. The property itself is gorgeous, full of history, and well-preserved. The dinners were abundant (come hungry!), authentic (thanks Paola!), and simply delicious. And the location offered a perfect respite from the touristy regions of Sardinia. If you want a relaxing and remote getaway, we could not recommend La Quercia, Arbus enough :)

Located in Carloforte and only less than 1 km from Cala Lunga Beach, Villa Elicriso provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Particularly quiet place suitable for a regenerating holiday; excellent breakfast with multiple healthy cheered by the presence of Otto and Olivia, two French bulldogs- Mrs. Mariangela takes care of every detail, offering a service worthy of a 4-star hotel.

Nestled not far from Laconi, our stay at Country Living School was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm embrace of hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The host family, James, Sara, Fabrizio and Giulia, radiated a genuine kindness and generosity that illuminated every aspect of our stay. Their welcoming smiles and eagerness to ensure my comfort created an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie that made us feel like part of their family from the outset. Beyond their gracious hospitality, what truly inspired us was their way of living. Their passion for life, connection to their community, and dedication to sustainable living left a lasting impression on us. Whether it was sharing stories over a delicious home-cooked meal made from ingredients sourced locally or engaging in meaningful conversations about their eco-friendly initiatives, we found ourselves inspired by their ethos and commitment to making a positive impact on the world around them. The accommodations themselves were cozy and inviting, providing a perfect sanctuary to relax and recharge after a day of exploration. Every detail, from the comfortable bedding to the charming décor, was thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall experience. In summary, our stay was an unforgettable journey filled with warmth, inspiration, and genuine connections. We left feeling deeply grateful for the opportunity to experience the true essence of hospitality and carry the lessons learned from James, Sara, Fabrizio and Giulia, with us wherever we go.
