Our stay at Lodge Du Chateau was absolutely fantastic, thanks to the incredible team who went above and beyond to make our trip special. 1. Above-and-Beyond Assistance:When our luggage was lost by the airline, Simon and Tesema helped us communicate with the airline and tracked it down. They even arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel the next day—such a relief! 2. Delicious Breakfast with a View: The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices, and enjoying it on the beautiful rooftop terrace with views of Gonder was the perfect way to start each day. 3. Local Experiences & Great Company: Tesema took us on a guided walk to the local market, which was so much fun! We even had a wonderful dinner together—it felt like being with family. 4. Helpful Travel Tips: Tesema gave us great advice about exploring Gonder and Ethiopia, making our travels much smoother and more enjoyable. 5. A Comfortable & Welcoming Stay: The entire team made us feel at home. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable. 6. Safe & Wonderful Destination: Gonder is a safe and fascinating city to visit, and we can’t wait to return—especially to stay at Lodge Du Chateau again! Located in Lalibela, a 15-minute walk from Bet Abba Libanos, Amba Lodge Lalibela has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. If you are looking for a comfortable, centrally located accommodation, managed by the kindest people, please look no further. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, with a stunning view. Food was of great quality and prepared with love. Couldn't recommend this place more. Mr. Gashaw, was kind, attentive, caring and very knowledgeable of the area.

Located in Gonder, a 7-minute walk from Queen Tayitu Pension, Inn of the Four Sisters provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Very clean and comfortable room with a huge balcony. The staff was very helpful, a very good contact with staff. Especially the young man at the reception - Solomon - was very supportive and helpful. Also an owner was always ready to help. The room was well equiped and spacious. Breakfast was very good - good service, tasty, a la carte. Good location and secure place.

SunView Hotel got great customer service and the hospitality is amazing. The restaurant is excellent. The room was so quiet which helped deep sleep. The manager was available to listen and fixed things discussed at the spot. The hotel is located close to the airport and they provide shuttle service. Overall, it is one of the best places to come again and again.

Super helpful staff welcomed me, directed me to where I wanted to go and allowed me a later checkout when I wasn't feeling well. Sparkling clean and near the airport, including an efficient airport shuttle.

Staff was excellent! Yohannaes, the manager, was excellent to work with. Thomas, our local guide, that we met through the hotel was outstanding. He showed us all the local rock churches and the local restaurants.

The view is amazing, the staff is adorable and so caring. the restaurant is delicious. the rooms are beautiful and the bed so comfortable ! it was perfect !

Absolutely loved my stay at honey Land hotel! The hotel was super clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location close to everything I wanted to see in Lalibela. They even helped me arrange transportation, and tour for Lalibela churches and surrounding which made things so easy. I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend staying honey Land Hotel!!
