The charming Karma Hotel Nepal offers homely accommodations with private bathrooms in Kathmandu. The hotel location was excellent. It is in the city center so nearby shops, restaurants and bars were very accessible. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful in all respects. The morning breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed it on all the days of my stay here. They provided airport pickup which made my first time in Kathmandu very easy. Would highly recommend the places in all respects. Will definitely be back here for another enjoyable stay.

Top quality features, building and rooms. Extremely clean, in each and every details. Excellent (though small) breakfast and top staff. The hotel definitely deserves its grade and the value for money is extra. You can stay there very confidently!

The location is superb, in the heart of Thamel and meanwhile calm. Everyone in the staff was so kind and accommodating. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in. The breakfast buffet had delicious variety and the rooftop swimming pool was refreshing and with nice views. I highly appreciate that they had the luggage storage which saved me a lot of hassle moving around with a heavy suitcase after shopping in Thamel :) Thank you a million 🙏🤩✨

Great location, right in the heart of Thamel. Friendly staff, nice facilities, good food and big comfortable room. They also offered a free airport transfer.

Offering a restaurant, Hotel Yambu kathmandu is located in Kathmandu. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms have an electric kettle. Private bathrooms also come with a shower. We had a great stay here (so much that we've stayed again after our trek!). The smaller rooms are quite small for 2 people, so we opted for the bigger room the second time around (this review is the first time). The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I can't thank them enough!! They've made us feel so at home and are always ready to help. The complimentary breakfast has been great too. When we were leaving early in the morning for our hike, they let us have breakfast even earlier than they usually serve it. The location is wonderful, centrally located but just away from the main roads so generally much quieter. We also availed of the complimentary airport transfer which was super helpful on arriving to Kathmandu.

Well set in Kathmandu, Kathmandu Aagantuk Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Every single member of staff I met was amazing. Genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. The hotel was very clean and would be ideal for solo travellers or couples (possibly families too). It's a 1 minute walk away from Thamel which is the main "tourist" area of the city.. but a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction you will get some amazing small local spots with the best "momo" (the most popular local/national food. Essentially dumplings with different fillings) but anyway..the location is ideal. its close to everything but still in a calm and quiet area. I had the most amazing chats every day with Abhi, the hotel supervisor/manager. An absolute gentleman who would go over and beyond in every way for a guest. But all the staff were the same. I only ate breakfast in the hotel and usually stuck to the same (American Style). But it was always very good. The guys would gladly give you some extra food etc if you wanted. I didn't eat other food from the restaurant as I was eating out and about but I'm sure it is all great. They were also great in regards to laundry services. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any backpackers, solo travellers or couples.
