The air-conditioned accommodation is 2.1 miles from The Dome. There's a sun terrace and guests can use free Wifi and free private parking. I met the owner on the flight to Niue (small world). Very nice and respectful guy. He waited until I clear immigration/customs and get my car rental to show me the property (which he didn’t really need to do). The property is great and a much better alternative to the overcrowded resorts. It is cozy and felt like home. The area is a couple of minutes from town. Definitely recommend staying here to really get a feel of the island

Scenic Matavai Resort Niue offers a variety of air-conditioned accommodations options, located in Niue. Guests can stay in resort rooms with a patio, or balcony with garden or ocean views. Views are awesome and lots to do . Very good information from the resort .Locals are very helpful and friendly . Recommend local tour when you first get there to get a very good outlay of where things are and a lot about what you can do. Excellent holiday and must be because we are going back.

The staff are good. They can pick you up from airport, though in Niue you really had better rent a car! Kitchen had enough tools to cook with. Bathroom had all one needs. Walking distance from food, bank. You can befriend other guests, if you are lucky!
