Hotels in Panama

This was the second time we stayed here and it was even better this time. Beautiful rooms, yummy food, and peaceful location.

Our absolute favorite...a small 12-room hotel where everything was perfect: the beauty of the building and its ideal location just a few steps from the ferry, the view from the infinity pool. Furthermore, the welcome from David, the owner, is extraordinary and you feel right at home. The entire cleaning team, made up of four Colombian women and one Colombian man, is extremely kind and super efficient in cleaning. We highly recommend this place.

Where to start....this hotel is run and owned by the delightful couple, Deirdre and Michael. They are truly amazing. They are welcoming and generous and did anything they could to elevate our stay to a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble. All they wanted to do was to make us comfortable. We didn't feel like guests. We felt like family members! The lovely cabins that one stays in are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The showers are piping hot and large. The grounds have seating areas and hammocks all shaded, as the sun is hot. The warm sea with the long deserted beach is literally a few steps from the hotels garden. The breakfasts are all freshly prepared to order by Deirdre and served by her and Michael. We eat lunch once there, which was freshly grilled fish with vegetables and plenty of rice. We can not give this hotel enough praise. If you visit you will not be disappointed.

Jawdropping location right in the midst of the rainforest yet right by the water. Hummingbirds right outside the bungalow. The porch with mosquitonets and a hammock even made the rainy parts of the day a joy. The bungalow was huge with fully equipped kitchen. The restaurant has a stunning view overlooking the rivers and the breakfast were great.

Staying at the Sofitel Legend in Panama was an absolutely dreamy experience. A perfect blend of elegance, warmth, and atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, everything felt special. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city’s most beautiful quarter, with stunning views that capture both the historic charm and the vibrant pulse of Panama City. The quality of every detail is exceptional, from the refined design and cleanliness to the small touches that make you feel genuinely cared for. The service is flawless: professional yet deeply personal. Every member of the staff radiates kindness, attentiveness, and pride in what they do. The food was a delight. The cocktails were simply divine, crafted with real artistry. As the evening set in, the music and the dance of candles created a uniquely unforgettable atmosphere that made each night unforgettable. The hotel staff even helped us organize guided tours, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay, perfectly planned, insightful, and full of local flavor.

Very good. Nice relaxed atmosphere

The staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed the pick-up at the harbor and the welcome drink was a tasty surprise. The location and the view from the room was just amazing.

The absolute cleanest place we have ever stayed. We were one of two bookings in 13 unit hotel, but Yammy who is also cook and bottle washer, was clraning all the unbooked rooms as well! Maintenance is top notch eveywhere you look. As you have to preorder your lunch and dinner, it can be a bit timely, but a eggs, bacon, toast and fruit are included! It is Cantonese food but fresh and homemade and very tasty. 5 minute walk to the nearest beautiful beach, 10 min to 1 hr drive to numerous more. Pedasi 15 mins away has numerous restautants (try Bohemia for the best pizza) stores and more. Much better value for stay than any place in Panama we have stayed so far.

Environmental been upgraded, better than before

The Tiki Lodge is an amazing welcoming place ! It has just been opened in dec 2024 and everything is new. It has 5 individual lodges with a nice terrasse and a swimming pool area. Everything has been decorated with lots of taste by the owners. The matress is super confortable and the hot shower is just great ! There is a ceiling fan and a/c. And the two owners, Claudia and Yann are amazing host who are doing everything to feel you at home in this wonderful place !! They speak french and italian as well. It.s a very  calme place, ideal for couples and individual travellers, perfect for divers with two excellent dive centres near the beach (Scuba Coiba and Coiba dive centre). Tiki has its own restaurant and bar and the food is delicious. All the staff is super nice and helpfull !  No noise in the evening as the lodges are in the back yard and everything gets quiet anyways at 10 pm. This is an absolutely stunning property with beautifully rooms, amazing restaurant, fantastic pool. Location is close to the airport on a very nice golf and country club. Calm and peaceful, ideal for an active time. Professional gym on premise as well.
