United StatesThe room was lovely; well furnished, with a comfy bed and a nice sitting area. The setting is beautiful and the personal service was terrific. The staff was really great! Our personal concierge, Gary, went above and beyond to contact us before we even arrived, to help us plan activities in the area, and to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They packed a breakfast for us when we left very early one morning, and even let us pre order breakfast so we could eat before we left for the airport.

The flat was comfortable, characterful and private, with a lovely balcony. The shared pool is gorgeous, with a wonderful view. Jan is so generous and interesting, and we loved having a chat. The friendly dogs were fun to cuddle as well. Quepos is a great little place (much better than Manuel Antonio). Problems we had once with the look and once with the electricity were solved by Johan immediately. It was very clean inside and the garden very beautiful. We saw around the house iguanas, hummingbirds, tucans and the three kinds of monkeys in the trees.
