This hotel is 3.6 km from the Liberty State Park and Science Center and the Statue of Liberty. It offers an airport shuttle to Newark Liberty International Airport. The Journal Square PATH subway station is 550 metres away.

The hotel is a bit older, but very clean, and that is important. The breakfast was absolutely sufficient for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is a little scary, but I was never scared. This was my fourth time at this hotel and certainly not my last. 5 minutes to PATH station and 10 minutes with the train to the World Trade Center or 20 minutes to the 33rd street. Supermarkets and food within walking distance

Tucked between SoHo and the Hudson, Hotel Hugo is located in Manhattan’s emerging Hudson Square neighborhood. Designed by renowned architect Marcello Pozzi, this hotel draws inspiration from the area’s art-meets-industrial atmosphere.

The room was clean and comfortable, the location was perfect to reach everywhere (we like to walk when we travel). I loved my view of the Hudson River (such beautiful colours in the morning & evening). The location is also very nice and safe. At the reception, you can always ask for water. My mother and I loved Hotel Hugo and we will come back here if we come back to NYC!

Room was really spacious & modern. The hotel has just been refurbished, everything is clean and new. Was nice and welcoming on arrival. The personal extras the hotel staff put on for us for our celebrations while away was really lovely and unexpected.

Immaculate apartment with all the amenities, you could possibly need. Really spacious with great design and artwork. Loved the feel of it, like being a local! Being in Jersey and still having quick access to Manhattan and all the tourist spots was a definite massive highlight. I gave it nine stars only because perfection doesn’t exist. Ha ha

A clean modern conversion of period bank building with additional storeys. The lobby is on the top floor with stunning views of NYC, so rooms with no view can still experience the NYC skyline.

New Jersey is a perfect location for exploring Manhattan during the day and then relaxing, with less hustle and bustle during the evening. This hotel is very close to both a great pedestrianised eating and shopping area, and to public transport into Manhattan (just two stops to the World Trade Center). The rooms are very trendy, clean, and ours was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
