La Fleur de Lys er til húsa í 350 ára gamalli byggingu í miðbæ miðaldabæjarins Gruyère, 400 metrum frá Gruyère-kastala, Giger-safninu og Tibet-safninu. In old town Gruyère, very close to the castle and the bus stop that goes to and from the train station. The staff is exceptional and the hotel atmosphere takes you back to a less hurried time. We enjoyed our meals and the evening fire in the common sitting room. We highly recommend it.

Gruyère Rooms is located in the historic center of Gruyères, Gruyère-Rooms offers you a wide range of different rooms, free wi-fi, a private outdoor garden, a shop where you can watch cheese being... Room was very big and nice, beds were very comfy, it was a rustic like feeling. Location and host is good. Point to note - bus 260 to Gruyere Ville operates till 7+pm from the Gruyeres main station - check google maps. Use the bus otherwise its a long uphill walk. Quiet town with food places nearby. No supermarket though, have to take the bus and go to another village for the supermarket like Migros or Denner. Ate at the restaurant and the food was good too. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use.

The Hotel du Faucon with its 23 spacious rooms can be found only a few steps from the city centre and the train station, in a quiet, cobbled and pedestrianized street. The room had space enough for two persons and excellent equipped. The hotel is situated in the heart of Fribourg and very near to the railway station. Daily impeccable cleaning.
