I felt as relaxed as I possibly could be here. I recommend also having dinner here as well. Excellent location in the center near many museums and cafes.

The hotel is located in Centro de Historico, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the area. It was recommended to me by my tour guide, and it did not disappoint! The owner and staff here are so friendly and helpful! We had arrived just a little after 5pm on a Saturday, and it was right after the power was cut off (country wide daily scheduled power outage). The battery on our phones were running low after after flight, and friends that we met in Galapagos the week prior was staying in another area where there was electricity. We were nervous to walk down to the square to meet them, as it was starting to get dark (and there were no street lights due to the power outage), don't speak Spanish, and generally not oriented with the area. Enrique offered to walk down to the square with us, and made sure we were ok before leaving. The next morning, we were feeling affects of the altitude, and he got us coca tea, and advice on what to do to help us acclimatize. Andre was friendly, offered us water before us heading out. Made sure we got something to eat every morning. There was always fruit, bread, and cook to order eggs and ham! He was extremely apologetic for the power outage, but it was to no fault of the hotel! He provided a portable lamp so that we would have a source of light at night. Cynthia was also very friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange airport transfer at the end of our trip, and even got the driver to come earlier when we were ready to go. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Casa Gardenia! Everything was clean and tidy. Service was amazing. The hotel has floor to ceiling windows that overlook Quito, and it's an amazing view! Wifi was fast (when the power was on. Would definitely recommend!

Casa Foch er til húsa í heillandi húsi með garði og býður upp á herbergi með ókeypis WiFi, aðeins 100 metrum frá líflega Foch-torginu. Morgunverðarhlaðborð er borið fram daglega. Couldn’t fault the property itself. Hosts were excellent - went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. Lovely room with comfortable bed and a balcony ( I had a superior queen). Shower was of a great pressure (in the evening you had to ask for the boiler to be turned on but it was no issue - 5 minute wait if that). Breakfast was great - fruit, toast and eggs. Coffee was strong. Location was fine for me but appreciate proximity to Plaza Foch isn’t for everyone. I had no issues with this - and the property has a locked gate at the entrance too! I would stay again.

Set in a modernist colonial mansion, Hotel Boutique Vieja Cuba offers accommodation in one Quito’s finest commercial areas. I wish I had known about this place before... I travel often to Ecuador for work, I was thinking to change my routine a bit ..so I decided to stay at this place (great option). The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was very complete and delicious, the hotel is close to everything...this will definitely be my destination the next time I return.

We had a suite with amazing views, comfortable arm chairs and a superking bed. Felt like a bit of 1930s grandeur. Staff friendly.
