Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

Romantic, comfortable and clean in the center of the lovely city. Despite being in the center, very quiet at night. Gabrielle did everything to make us feel welcome!

A beautiful property. Great location, wonderful host, excellent breakfast with good quality produce and good choice on offer. Really comfortable bed. The villa Elyane is a real gem and would recommend it to anyone visiting Colmar.

Just 5 km from Bâle, this 4-star hotel is situated 5.6 km from Basel-Mulhouse Airport. It offers airport shuttles, a wine and cocktail bar open 7 days a week and a spa centre. Quaint boutique style hotel. Nice little town with a couple deli’s, restaurants and shops. Close to the airport for an early morning flight.

Rooms were comfortable and had portable ac units that made it super comfortable sleeping during the warm night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also nice.
