The location is beautiful, set in a formal garden by a small river, it was a delight. But more delightful still are the owners who run this lovely old house, especially Emmanuel who was the perfect host, showing that nothing was too much trouble.

Hôtel Restaurant Spa Le Sauvage, formerly the Clarisses Monestary, is located in the historic district of Besançon, 500 metres from the citadel's ancient walls. Beautiful setting. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated. The bath tub was amazing. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. We enjoyed the spa experience. Very conveniently located as well.

Les Capucins is centrally located in a former brewery, just 500 metres from the Belfort Train Station. We were on our way from Switzerland to Paris and were looking for a place to spend the night. I didn't expect something like this, but it was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The room was very clean and warm (it was January and everywhere we stayed was cold), the breakfast was incredible and the staff was very friendly. 100% satisfied.

La Chaumiere is located in Dole, between Dijon and Besançon in eastern France. It offers en suite accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Amazing hotel with french charm, incredibly welcoming, comfortable rooms, lovely staff. I wish we could stay longer and enjoy their restaurant which is well known for its tasteful cuisine.
