Le Grenier du Chapitre offers a loft and an apartment located in the medieval heart of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Le Grenier du Chapitre is in the oldest and best part of Sarlat, city parking lot, shopping and restaurants all near by, inside the apartment feels roomy and laid out nicely, modern appliances like coffee maker, stove, washing machine all working perfectly, inside the apartment, structure of building and surrounding area all full of charm. Tourist office and main church is right around the corner, where the famous twice a week morning market takes place, local farms sell incredible high quality farm products, which we love to bring back to apartment to cook. Dordogne is a very special area, Sarlat makes the best home base for travelers, we are so glad booking early to stay 5 nights in Le Grenier du Chapitre.

Located in Sarlat-la-Canéda, Le Clos Vallis is a B&B set in a garden with an outdoor swimming pool and a furnished terrace. Amazing garden and wonderful hosts! I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Located in Vitrac, 4 km from Sarlat, La Barde Montfort, your guesthouse offers an outdoor pool, a garden, a library lounge and free Wi-Fi. Free parking is available. Pascal und Frederique are perfect hosts, the room was charming, clean and spacious, the pool was great to relax after sightseeing. During the delicious breakfast we had inspiring conversations. Thanks a lot for the hospitality!

Sarlat Côté Jardin is a 16th-century house located just at the entrance to the medieval town of Sarlat in the Périgord region. A refined refuge with hosting by the owners that was attentive, generous, so helpful. The quality of every thing from the linen comforter to the cleanliness and abundant breakfast is tops. One of the nicest stays of a long lifetime! Enjoyed Michelle and her husband and aging dog enormously. Perfect.

Located in the hills, 850 metres from the centre of Sarlat in the Dordogne region, Hôtel Bon Encontre features an infinity heated swimming pool overlooking the Sarladaise Valley. The manager here is a most gracious and helpful lady! She took a big interest in not just our comfort, but in our plans while in the area. She gave us a booklet about the area with a nice map and circled some other sites and activities that we were not aware of. We followed her advise, which greatly enhanced our stay in the area. The breakfast she servers is delicious, with fresh local cheeses, fresh fruit, meats and fresh baked goods, some of which she makes herself (her walnut cake is luscious) Each morning she would bring that day's selection to the table and tell us about each of the cheeses and her custom baked goods. When I inquired about laundromats in town, she graciously offered us the use of the laundry room to do a load of wash, so we could relax in our room while laundry in progress instead of sitting for hours in a laundromat. The room was just wonderful! Comfy bed. Spacious and clean with, fabulous, well-designed lighting, for both reading in bed and lighting the rest of the room as well, all of which you could turn off and on with switches on either side of the bed. Charging plugs on both sides of the bed. We even had our own little patio with a table and seats just outside the sliding glass door. Parking plentiful and convenient to the rooms. Lovely patio and pool area for guest use.

Offering a seasonal heated outdoor swimming poolpool, Hotel La Maison des Peyrat is a stylish property located in Sarlat-la-Canéda. Sarlat can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. Despite the proximity to the city, it is located uphill in the greenery and very quiet. The property is beautiful, also the outdoor area with old trees and swimming pool is beautifully planted, very well maintained and with many different seating areas. Some also in the pleasant shade, so you can enjoy a delicious coffee there even in the heat. You can see a lot of attention to detail. The hostess is very friendly. We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

10 km from Castelnaud La Chapelle and Sarlat, L'Esplanade is situated in the heart of the medieval city of Domme and offers free Wi-Fi and views of the Dordogne Valley. Location fantastic with superb view. Reception was warm and every detail was well thought out with a personal touch. The restaurant is excellent, every dish was nothing but a delight. Though we arrived a little late, the host was very thoughtful to accommodate our needs. One of the best hotels we've experienced, no doubt.
