The host Matko was warm and welcoming, the unit was clean, cozy and the place was as close as you can get to the water and a large supermarket without sacrificing the view from the balcony, which was fit for a Hvar postcard.

Restaurant Lucullus serves a rich breakfast and dinners including the specialities of Hvar Island like goat with potatoes cooked in a brick oven or cheese with capers and olive oil. Everything. We had the best stay of our entire trip here. Natalia is so hospitable, the rooms are huge with a very nice terrace and the breakfast is so good!

We stayed in Croatia for 10 days and stayed in 5 star hotels in Dubrovnik, Split and Hvar. We got buffet breakfast in the other hotels, so you cannot compare the breakfast here! No complaints. Staff were amazing and attentive. The location was so central, right at the port, so only 2 min walk from where the ferry dropped us off. Also hotel is next to bars and restaurants.
