Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. The location was great. Also, the room was spacious enough for Japan standards.

They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. We loved the place. Very well placed, only a 5min walk from the Gion area and many temples. The owners are the nicest people, and gave us a lot of help on our trip. They also have a bike rental for 600Y per day which was very handy. The free breakfast they give is great and we also had the japanese breakfast one day which we loved. The room was spacious and very nice, with great air conditioning and nice futons. We also used the laundring service. We loved the place and highlt recommend it

Binuksan noong Abril 2013 nang may bagung-bagong facilities, limang minutong lakad lang ang Hostel Kyoto mula sa JR Kyoto Station. Best hostel in Japan, hands down Everything was so good, staff is very friendly and helpful, common area super nice with a kitchen, some couch and even a computer that you can use if you need There is some events organized, its super close to the station, rooms with few beds that are very comfy and it was very clean Not to mention the rooftop because it was cold and the nice (payed) breakfast Stop you research for kyoto, this place is perfect

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything. Everything was impecable, and the attention from the staff was astounding.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

Directly accessible within Kansai International Airport, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport features comfortable rooms with free WiFi. The location is excellent for early flights – just a few minutes’ walk to Kansai Airport. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is well connected to the terminal. Staff were professional and check-in was smooth, which made everything stress-free before departure.

Breakfast was very tasty with big assortment of food. Not a central location was fully compensated by shuttle bus going each 20 minutes.
