Quiet when we visited (early December), although I expect it can get very busy during peak hours.

We stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon and were properly pampered. Amazing freshly cooked breakfasts on a balcony overlooking the beach, cocktails in the swim up bar (all made with fresh fruit and homemade syrups), and incredibly comfortable beds - the pillows are better than ours at home! The beach is far cleaner than some of the other hotels on the ideal, with very little seaweed. It's also in a great location, halfway between the town and the walk to Punta Mosquito, so it's really quiet. All the staff are fantastic, so kind and friendly and all speak wonderful English. The walk to town is about 15 minutes down the beach, or a taxi is about 5 minutes (150 pesos). We had a really excellent time.

The apartment provides a restaurant serving American cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. We can not rate this place enough. The location is amazing and room was spot on. The owner Majdid went above and beyond with explaining the local areas and all the good spots to eat. They also have a great little cafe/restaurant attached that has an amazing breakfast. Would go back here in a heart beat. If it's avaliable then book it. You won't regret it!

Staff smiley and efficient, communication flawless. Good wifi reaching the beach area.

Casa Don Diego features air-conditioning and private bathrooms in every guest room. All rooms feature a balcony or terrace. The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.
