With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. The reception staff was the highlight of our stay. The room was very spacious and the breakfast amazing. Saying all that, the staff really were incredible!

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. The hotel is really great - nice location next to the city center, spacious rooms equipped with kitchenette, really tasty breakfast, lovely surroundings and exceptional staff. Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. Everything was so modern and clean and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooftop bar/pool area was amazing and it was in SUCH a good location. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel and well looked after. Absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone.

The location is breathtaking, and all the shared facilities are the best: the pull, the Jacuzzies, all the sitting spots, it seems that every inch in this place got attention in design. The rooms are big and comfy. We stayed in a room with a direct spot to the sunset and it was beautiful. The breakfast is very good, but above all the host is the nicest man. He take care for everythink that we asked and gave us his number in the days he weren’t there to tell him if something is wrong. This was the perfect place!
