Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Teresa is a very welcoming person. We like our stay a lot. Bed is very comfortable. The room and facilities are very clean. Breakfast is just great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Matatagpuan sa bangin na nakaharap sa Atlantic Ocean, nasa loob ng ni-renovate na traditional farm house ang design hotel na ito. Location could not have been better! Super friendly staff. We had a very special and unique experience.

Nag-aalok ng outdoor pool at spa center, ang Castanheiro Boutique Hotel ay makikita sa Funchal at 500 metro mula sa Marina do Funchal. May year-round outdoor pool at hot tub ang hotel. The staff was Excellent. They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. Beautiful property in a great location for hiking to Pico Ruivo and Pico Areeiro. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel very special. The Hibiscus Restaurant had wonderful food and Fabrício was great!

I had a pleasant stay at Golden Residence Hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the food was tasty with a good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel offers great views of the surrounding area, and I enjoyed relaxing by the small but cozy pool. Overall, the facilities and services were good, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in Madeira.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Very nice garden, big room, friendly staff and nice furniture

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools and access to the sea. Beautiful traditional hotel very close to the old town and all its restaurants. A real Madeira experience that one can't get at all the characterless modern hotels. Superb facilities with two lovely pools and the ability to swim in the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet at night - a real oasis- but within easy walking distance nightlife. A perfect place to stay.

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. The staff including Managers were very pleasant, accommodating and spoke perfect english. We travelled with our family of seven using 3 rooms. The breakfast was fantastic offering, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, coffees and my favourite freshly squeezed orange juice to name a few items. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Separate large rooms for both the toilet and walk in shower. We had a great view of the sea port where the cruise ships were docked. The Vine has the best location in Funchal and is an easy walk to many attractions. This was my second visit to the Vine.
