I will be honest, the hotel looks very simple, but as soon as we entered our room we were enamoured and enchanted! We had a balcony overlooking the ocean which was incredibly close, we had the opportunity to not only watch the raging waves but also listen to the sound of the ocean all night long! We purposely left the balcony open at night, if you close it the konata would be quiet. The konata is great! The bed is incredibly large and comfortable, we were greeted with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine which was very nice. The room had a nice bathroom with everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast, not a big buffet, had everything we needed. I had boiled eggs at my request and the staff were polite. On my birthday they brought me a cake with a candle. The view from the restaurant was also unforgettable on the ocean.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Staying in Casa das Proteas was an amazing experience. The view is absolutely stunning, the breakfast is very tasty and Teresa is super kind and helpful. We will definitely come back:)

Matatagpuan sa bangin na nakaharap sa Atlantic Ocean, nasa loob ng ni-renovate na traditional farm house ang design hotel na ito. Awesome view from this hotel combined with a great breakfast made this a real treat for us. Together with the great weather for this time of the year we really enjoyed the outdoor areas.

Nag-aalok ng outdoor pool at spa center, ang Castanheiro Boutique Hotel ay makikita sa Funchal at 500 metro mula sa Marina do Funchal. May year-round outdoor pool at hot tub ang hotel. Perfect location in the centre of Funchal, but very quiet surroundings. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of fresh food, also made on request. A lot of local fresh fruits. Extremely helpful personnel. Goncalo recommended us several places to eat and enjoy Funchal - all of them were just great for us. Well equipped spa. We also had a massage in the hotel. Good bar on the ground floor. We did not have time to enjoy the pool bar on the roof. We made a reservation for 2 nights, but finally we have stayed 7 nights. Unforgettable stay.

With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. The property was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the balcony and view. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I spent 5 wonderful days in the hotel with 2 kids. We all liked a lot breakfasts , where we found different meal on our taste! Our appartment was really big with 2 rooms, super clean and nice with evetything needed inside! First few days it was windy, so we used to go to the inside swimming pool with jacuzzi and saunas. My kids loved this time-spending and it was very relaxed for me as well: after all day walking to swim in warm water and to get rest. The area with outside swimming pool looks much better and bigger than on the photos and it has a wonderdull views for the ocean and nature around! Very beautiful beach wit rocks is in 5 minutes walking from the hotel!

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Very nice garden, big room, friendly staff and nice furniture

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools and access to the sea. The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location—right in the center, with everything within easy walking distance. It’s very cozy, very clean, and well maintained, and the staff are friendly. The only minor drawbacks were that the mattress is a bit firm, and the breakfast selection isn’t very large.

The breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruits and bakery every day. Pool area with a really amazing view and exceptionally good cocktails.
