When I first walked into the lobby, I was very impressed with all the antique furniture and souvenirs that were on display. The rooms were also well decorated and I honestly felt like I was getting a luxury rental at an economy price.

Affordable and lovely ambience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some spoke English (our Spanish was very poor). We were in Asuncion for family reasons. Coming back to the hotel every day provided us with much needed respite. A more pleasant ambience than a big city hotel. The conservatory style restaurant with green outlook cleverly screened us from the busy road. We ate at the restaurant every night and didn't tire of the varied range of dishes on the menu. The breakfast had a good range. Not a lot of hot options but that was not a concern for us. Plenty of fruit and cereals, grains and nuts, yogurt etc A choice of four fresh juices and pastries. Breakfast was very relaxed. I enjoyed a swim in the pool. There is a large supermarket opposite, up the road a bit. And further on is the shopping centre Mariscal behind the Villa Mora shopping mall which has coffee/eateries. We used Bolt rather than Uber to get around. They came promptly although not always a driver available. Better vehicles than the taxis. Very affordable (for foreigners).
