The Oystercatchers Haven at Paternoster is situated right on the beach and just 2 minutes' drive from the village centre of Paternoster. It offers a plunge pool and en-suite rooms with sea views. Oystercatchers was an amazing place to stay. It felt like stepping back in time to a Professors study. Although the furniture was antique style it wasn't dusty and old. The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable. There were dressing gowns. The shower was powerful and hot with a view out to sea. There was a heater if we needed. The guest house was directly above the beach and there was a short path to the beach. The views when you woke up in the morning, or watching the sunset were amazing. The breakfast was tasty and generous and the staff and Ansu were very helpful. There were restaurants within walking distance. Although we did not walk after dark. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had booked longer.

O chalé! A Guest House está situada na vila de pescadores de Paternoster, a 6 km do Farol de Cape Columbine. Fantastic welcome from Arnold Hoon. We were given a lovely bedroom upstairs with great facilities facing the veld. It had all the amenities needed from gorgeous fragrant toiletries to coffee and tea-making facilities; all well-spaced and compact. On the same level, we shared a charming terrace with other guests to have sundowners enjoying a view of the sea and beach. The ah! Guest Lodge is only about 150 metres from the sea. Safe parking outside and is within walking distance of restaurants and some shops. We had great assistance with our flat car battery. Although we had to leave very early the next day, we delved into a fabulous fresh fruit breakfast and coffee. Good value. What a charming arty guest house. Loved it! We would certainly stay here again and stay longer.

Located in the heart of Paternoster and overlooking the tranquil bay, nearby restaurants and the local waterfront. The location steps from the ocean was fantastic. Great view and the hosts were very nice.

Jan the manager was extremely helpful and helped us with another booking in February. All the staff were most friendly. The room was comfortable and especially the bed. The parking was easy.

It's perfectly situated to be able to walk to the beach and down the main street to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, clean with everything you would need.. we really enjoyed our stay.
