The property is in an ideal location to visit local towns. The host gave us some ideas on where to visit and we were not disappointed, they were beautiful. The property is a little dated compared to some of the others we visited on our journey but was comfortable. There is a garden for our dogs but it is not fenced off. It is in a quiet area and lovely to walk along the road

Exceptional Hotel , Perfect location for visiting a multitude of exceedingly interesting and beautiful locations eg Sarlat de Candida, the Dordogne valley , river with its numerous chateaux and sporting activities. The welcome was very warm . The facilities are set in beautiful grounds and the food ! What can I say absolute " Heaven" if you like FIVE STAR local french cuisine. Having stayed at hotels that were rated much higher this hotel can hold its own with the very best . Our room was spotless and the linen / towels were of the best quality and the decor of the room charming. Should be Four Star minimum.

Fanny and Tamas were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great and the kids had loads to do- swimming pool, jacuzzi, board games etc. The facilities are of a very high standard and we were able to cook in the full kitchen. We look forward to coming back!

What a delight this was! Our hosts were simply marvelous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully designed and decorated and led directly to the dining lounge area. It was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the architecture of the building.
The evening meal was superb and started with a lovely cocktail. It was like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Although we had to leave early the following morning so couldn't have a proper breakfast we were given some beautiful pastries to take with us for our journey.
It was clear that our hosts took great pride in everything they did and the conversation over dinner was very entertaining. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting the region.
