"What can I say about the Carriden Hotel Shezhen North Railway Station Branch? Certainly, as another writer said, they do not speak very much English, but that didn’t stop them from being incredibly helpful, especially the young man who was on reception the day we stayed there. With lots of smiles, some laughter, patience and a really good translation app., all our queries were taken care of promptly and courteously. Everyone was most obliging and went out of their way to look after us and answer all our queries.
I also want to comment on the most delicious (vegetarian) eggplant and green bean dish which we ate in the restaurant the night of our stay … it was a real stand out - by far the best dish we had in all the time we were in China.
I would have no hesitation to stay at this hotel again or recommending it to others – but be aware it is not near Shenzhen’s central business district, however, it is perfectly situated for the Shezhen North Railway Station which is about a 5 minute walk away."
