“I'm sure our stay at Kazbegi wouldn't be as good have we stayed at another place. Hotel Kazbegi is located at the best possible location - short walking distance from everything you need but not too close to be noisy. The rooms are spacious with windows to great views. Breakfast is super good: every morning we got a hot meal (eggs and sausages) with vegetables and cheese - the perfect breakfast for starting a day of hiking in the beautiful nature around. But what really made the most difference for us is the great hospitality of the owners. They went out of their way to help us make the most out of our stay - for example by helping us arranging transportation for our daily hikes and negotiating a fair price with the taxi drivers. The value you get for the price is really great. We were planning to hop on to the next place after staying at the hotel for one night but we ended up staying for few days as it was very comfortable.”

But if you decided to come with a bus, you have to walk with your belongings. Before reserving this place I have read in reviews that phone number and address isn’t right, but I still decided to reserve it and the owner quickly responded with correct address and phone number. It’s located in Gergeti, near cafe Gergeti, just take a look, ask owner. The photos are relevant, on the balkony there is a sign with phone numbers. We had a room with double bed and private bathroom. The kitchen is shared between two rooms, there is a gas stove, sink, some dishes, cups. In the room there was no closet, but really we don’t use closet for a shot stay. The room is small, 3 sleeping places, very clean, warm blankets, the bathroom is good sized. We like this place, the owners are nice.”

“The view from the room, aced it! Such a beautiful property with a balcony in every room and breathtaking views of the serene mountains and the beautiful Gergeti monastery. Wish we could stay longer. It’s a fairly new property so I guess they don’t have a restaurant open yet. The staff were very kind. One suggestion, although this place is not at all far from the center, if you have heavy carry on luggage you rather take a taxi to the hotel because it’s situated uphill. Totally worth your money!”

“Newly renovated rooms, very close to the beginning of the trail to the mountains. The whole guest family is lovely, always there for advice, help, a ride or a laugh. The food was amazing and accompanied by lots of wine, cha cha and easy conversation. The guesthouse also had hot water and wifi and everything was very clean. Even though they were booked out when we stayed there we managed to enjoy enough privacy since the rooms are far enough from each other. And of course the cherry on top was the adorable puppy they adopted.”

The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything is spotless, and guests feel welcome, and it shows. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. We really appreciate enormous generosity, hospitality and kindness of the owners. They offered unparalleled and caring atmosphere that made us feel at home. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped. They come with a large bathroom. There are lots of common spaces, large TV rooms and beautiful terraces from which we could enjoy spectacular views of the mountains. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but is just steps away from the downtown Stepandsmida. Though our reservation did not initially include breakfast, we decided to dine at Travel Inn Kazbegi. To be honest, this was the best and most delicious breakfast we had had in a long time. The owner put in so much heart and effort to prepare such a diverse set of menu items for breakfast. In addition, she was preparing extra traditional Georgian dishes for us to try. We loved it, and we very highly recommend this place for anyone who visits Kazbegi/Stepandsmida.”

“Everything about this place was great. Amazingly comfortable room. Incredible view. Tons of space. Modern clean bathroom. We checked in three hours early and checked our four hours late with no problem. Staff was truly the best. Nata is the best host I’ve ever had. She was so sweet and excitedand helpful about everything, including arranging a driver for us to Juta. Breakfast was perfect. Great great hotel!”

“Everything was perfect. Owners are very accommodating, super friendly and showed up immediately every time we had a question. Heating worked fine, shower too. Kitchen is simple with two stoves and two pans. Sufficient for basic cooking. Everything is clean and new. Unfortunately we accidentally did some damage to the property. The hosts responded in a very friendly manner, did not make a fuss and did not accept our offer to reimburse for the costs of the repair. Will definitely go back and can recommend to all.”

“This guesthouse is fabolous! It's the perfect location-between Kobi (cable car-gondola) and Kazbegi (restaurants, supermarket). It's very expensive to stay in New Gudauri and restaurants there are expensive and food bad quality. Don't even hesitate to order breakfast and dinner at Hotel Nicolo-you will be surprised on variety and amount the hosts will serve! :) and price of course!!! You will be spoiled and overwhelmed! We have been in Gudauri 3 times and would definately recommened Hotel Nicolo. Easy to go around as the owners arrange taxi service for a decent price. Just give a phone call or a text mesage and the car will be there for you in a short time!;) and if you need a babysitter-it's safe to leave your kid with the lady owner-she's fabolous lady and mum of 2 great kids!”

“I loved my stay at Migu Yard. One of the most peaceful and pleasant experiences of my holiday. The staff was very kind, Ms.Tamari was very helpful with everything while Ms.Pikria kept me very entertained discussing Bollywood movies and places to visit in Georgia. The hotel is very scenic in the winter with snowfall all around. This place would be particularly better if you go as a group of friends or as couples. You might need a car if you want to get places, otherwise perfect for hikers. Located in Ackhkoti it is equidistant from Stepansminda and Sno, surrounded by amazing natural landscapes and very beautiful ancient ruins, this hotel is beautifully located. I will definitely be visiting again, you should too.
