“I rarely give comments, since in general the quality of Booking's sleeping places have to be a lot better and don't wanna to offend owners, but this time i need to tell others that Sammy's homestay is the place that - for me, visiting many countries as backpacker, stopped counting after 100 countries - is the definition of great sleeping place. This is why: - perfect clean - helpful owner and stuff, you could ask whatever you want and nobody will ask for money for it - pretty new buildings (3 years old if i remember correctly) - Sammy's wife is kind of Masterchef cooker - ratio of quality to price is excellent - you could taste local beach, cuisine and others, just talk to the owner or staff - free water - great wifi - the staff is really frinedly and smile to you all the time. If you miss the family, you will find the new temporary family here. Thats for sure. - able to arrange scooter, take-away food from local 'warung', taxi to airport for normal price or anything you need - very safe - able to talk about differences in cultures between Europe and Lombok (staff and owner are very open minded and you can ask anything) - you feel like part of family, even though you realize that there is huge gap between culture but it doesnt matters”
