“Wonderful little hotel - more or less in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Staff super friendly, comfortable beds, excellent shower and delicious breakfast. Double glazing in the windows blind all undesirable sound around, like the insistent barking of overprotective neighbours' dog...had a wonderful night sleep, not always granted when away from home!”

“We didn't find the place right away, but Ishbel came to meet us immediately and together we drove to the cozy cottage, where a delightful fireplace with a lit fire was awaiting our arrival. We were there to get away from the busyness and to celebrate my birthday. The host Ishhel was incredible! She even had champagne and gifts for my birthday waiting for me in the cottage! It was a lovely little place, very cozy, the huge rock in the living room was an interesting room mate :D! Lovely property, we spend some time on the covered porch sipping tea and enjoying the peace. The bed is very comfortable, the access road is fine as long as you go slowly. We didn't miss the tv one minute, the very good wifi was perfect for music and netflix!”
