Nicely laid out in pleasant grounds with secure parking. Comfortable beds and the balcony hammocks were a welcome addition. Helpful staff. Location was great, with a 10 min walk along the river to get to the old town.

We stayed at Pousada Caborê for a day, on our way from SP to Angra and it was amazing. Definitely will visit again. Staff was impecable, specially Alice and the people in the kitchen. Great breakfast with lots of options, including a fully loaded Carolina! Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. I had to work for a few hours during my stay and the internet worked perfectly by the pool. Pool was amazing and very clean. Warm water and great weather. The hotel is nearby the Historical Center, a quick 10-15 min walk, or 5-10 min bike ride. Parking lot was safe and spacious.

The room was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The garden was beautiful, filled with amazing orchids. The pousada is peaceful and quiet, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The hosts, Jo and Vicente, along with all their staff, were kind and welcoming. They shared their delicious home-made lunch with us, gave excellent restaurant and tour guide recommendations, helped with currency exchange, and even lent us money when we didn’t have cash to pay our driver.
