The chance to watch the local life of the city away from the tourist areas was phenomenal. A fantastic breakfast delivered every morning to be enjoyed while watching rowers & water birds on the river, runners on the jogging path, etc. etc. Truly magnificent and Claude is a great host! He speaks quite a bit of English so don't worry if your French is so-so! Also, some really amazing restaurants nearby. We adored La Table de la Colysee and the bars on the nearby Quai.

The location was lovely and could walk through the park. The breakfast was good too, the coffee really was lovely! And we had a lovely view of the canal. I loved our big windows and the blue colour of the room

I liked the hygiene, the breakfast, overall nature and atmosphere of the place. The calm scenery at the pond the trees and interesting animals around was perfect for us. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The manor is absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of historic charm and peaceful countryside. The house is beautifully maintained with elegant details, and the surrounding garden is incredibly serene. Absolutely fabulous apartment with swish, modern kitchen and bathroom facilities, lovely living space with balcony overlooking a serene, landscaped courtyard. Very quiet location but 8 minute walk to the nearest Metro stop & 15-20 minutes into the city centre. Facilities were excellent as was the added bonus of secure, free parking. Service very friendly & helpful. Marvelous!
