Situated in Paris’ 11th district, General Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Republique Square and has a fitness centre with sauna. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us welcome- Louis when we got to the hotel then, Janus, made sure we had anything we needed. Ibrahim with the lovely welcome note on behalf of the hotel- they all tried to do something to make us welcome. It was really nice and special, not too commercial but also had a lovely location in the middle of Paris. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and drinks for our honeymoon and extra locitane goodies. So I would rate the experience and staff as excellent. Thanks guys

This boutique hotel is a hidden jewel in the 11th district. We stayed in the Duplex Suite which was amazing - private patio, two bedrooms upstairs, an amazing bathtub (and Italian shower) in the master suite and an awesome Italian shower in the second room. The beds were super comfortable - we literally spent a good part of the day today talking about how incredibly comfortable they were over brunch (which by the way was delicious and varied, not at all rushed... which was very much appreciated after a late night the night before!). The staff were very attentive to my requests. The pool was a bit too warm but a nice cold shower right after did the deed. Will definitely be back to the restaurant/bar for fun, and will definitely recommend the hotel to friends coming to Paris.

Located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, Hôtel La Nouvelle République & Hammam is a 15-minute walk from Place de la République and a 20-minute walk from the Marais district. Our hotel room was a good size with a king size bed and a nice updated bathroom which is not that common in Paris. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and the hotel was thoughtfully renovated with a fun and artistic decor. The breakfast was very good and the automatic coffee/espresso machine was available all day.

Hôtel Hor Les Lumières is set in the 11th arr. District in Paris, 800 metres from Place de la République. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Very friendly staff :) Great breakfast, worth the price. Its a safe place to stay in Paris 🥰

Located in the 11th district of Paris, a 5-minute walk from the Marais district and Place des Vosges Park, Grand Hôtel Amelot offers a 24-hour reception, concierge service and luggage storage. Yasil, the concierge at the front desk was superb. He was very welcoming. Gave us coffee and the best apple turnovers (chauson pomme) and croissants. Spoke to us about the neighborhood and all there was to do in Paris. In fact he pulled out a map and circled landmarks on the map, made connections with other landmarks to visit including shopping galleries. The hotel itself was quaint, clean and full of authentic French architecture and culture. Our room (2 queen beds - slept 4) was your standard room like in the states perhaps a little tighter in size. The bathroom was very clean, a stand up shower with a snazzy shower curtain. There definitely was a safe, a closet and even a super cool fridge that hung on the wall. Looked like a black box! The hotel smelled sooooo nice and clean and fresh. 20 stars 🌟 The metro station was a 4 minute walk, up a hill and around the corner. Plenty to eat around there and you can exchange money down the block at the bastille. Reason for our stay: my daughter's 10th bday gift was to visit the eiffel tower.
