This is my honest review, my first time traveling abroad, especially Kashmir and Danish as the homestay host helped me in making an evisa and gave me taxi recommendations even below the market price of a taxi (I have researched taxi prices and taxis from Danish are the best), Danish gave extra food portions too. Complete homestay facilities, heaters work, travel advice and very helpful when I need help with small things. The homestay is very clean, there are no animals or disturbing smells, the bathroom is very clean, amenities are very complete, very comfortable and feels homey. Soft blankets, very delicious food! I didn't expect recommendations from Danish would make me really like Indian food. And most importantly, this homestay has a beautiful view of Dal Lake! its really in front of dal lake~ For all that I get, this price is very affordable!

The owners are very polite and kind. I had some issues with the sewage in the toilet. The owners solved that immediately. They always picked me up and dropped me off at the shore without any complaints.

The view from the room on the upper deck is very good. There's a balcony with chairs and a Jacuzzi/bathtub with lake view too. The room itself is big and nicely decorated in kashmiri style. There are glass windows all around for a nice lake view from the bed itself. Good privacy as there's just one room on the upper deck. We only did breakfast which was ok nothing special. We had our meals on the boulevard for which Shikara boat pick-up and drop was provided.
