Owner spoke excellent English and was very welcoming and helpful. Great value, great location, walked everywhere. Onsen closeby. Cozy 2nd floor, 8 guests, bunk beds. Would stay again.

Satomi is the most gracious and kind hostess. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend to others. The traditional Japanese house was breathtaking! She has taken great care to ensure you have a wonderful experience.

It's a beautiful hotel and very new. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (especially the young woman from Taiwan!), while the onsen is deligthful. Very relaxing and beautiful views out. Best part was the dinner, though --- one of the best meals I've had in awhile. The Saga steak in particular was out of this world.

Very attentive staff. Contemporary Ryokan esthetic. Huge rooms with lots of amenities. Nice Onsen. Nice complementary lounge. Excellent dinner and service. Had an early departure before breakfast- they packed a Bento Box for me to eat on the train. Facilities and service exceeded my expectations.
