We had the pleasure of staying at El Sheikh Suites Hotel for 12 nights, which gave us enough time to truly see how this hotel operates on a daily basis. In my opinion, this is the best non-chain hotel I have ever stayed in.
We were upgraded to a very spacious suite on the 10th floor. The thermal comfort in the room was excellent, with separate living room and bedroom areas, and the entire hotel always had a pleasant fragrance. After just three days, we already knew most of the staff — from the parking attendants and concierge to the front desk and housekeeping. Everyone was genuinely kind, not in a “hotel-standard” way, but in a very sincere and human way. We felt at home every time we returned.
Free valet parking in an underground garage was extremely convenient, especially in such a busy neighborhood. The location is excellent — close to Spinneys supermarket and many great, affordable food places.

I honestly recommend the HUG! I keep returning there for shorter and longer stays. Great location, super helpful and nice staff, clean rooms, and a fantastic restaurant! And not less important, I feel safe there.

The location was near to the main area of Hamra and to many various options of restaurants and cafes. It’s near to the AUB campus and to the Hamra marketplace.
The most important thing to me was the cleanliness and the good space of the suite.
The balcony was an extra delight.
