I am giving 10 stars as simple gratification. My plans changed and I asked for cancellation prior to check in. Although it was no cancel/no refund policy, the host was flexible and cancelled, avoiding unnecessary charges. During my visit reception area was clean, that I had to take my shoes off. The location is near the big road in the center and near a big hotel and restaurant around the corner with many foreigners. Another hotel staff/security took me to the right bus towards Swaziland. Thank you. P.S. Host also let me charge my phone.

Modern room, compact but comfy. I was there off peak so the hotel was very quiet - I had the rooftop pool to myself, rather than a buffet breakfast they served whatever you wanted from a menu and on the last day they were kind enough to allow me a late check out. Complimentary bottle of water in room every day was good.

Excellent location in a very central area of Maputo, with most places just a 6–7 minute ride away. The property is modern, recently renovated, very clean and extremely well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed, good shower, air conditioning and TV. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful — Luciano even woke up twice during the night to help us arrange taxis for very early morning departures when we couldn’t find one ourselves. Special mention to Luciano indeed, who was incredibly kind, always available and speaks excellent English. Fantastic value for money.

Malagueta Inn II is a spectacular oasis in a great location in Maputo. There are many choices for dining within a short walk as well as a supermarket. Also in the area are a cultural center, a craft fair and a hospital. Miguel, the owner, and his staff are stellar. They are welcoming, caring and highly attentive in the beautifully decorated setting with very comfortable rooms and the gorgeous pool. Thank you Miguel and staff !!!

Pretty much everything. Location, space, view, size, bright throughout, clean. Communication with host very good. Host arranged taxi service for us. A guy called Manuel, please make sure to ask for him. Manuel also became our tour guide and even drove us to BIlene. Everything about our stay was smooth!

The host was very nice, he even gave us extra sugar because we finished the one he gave us. The house is close to the beach and town, and it's also affordable. Great stay, highly recommend

The apartment was very nice and very clean and was well-equipped. The host was very informative and easy to coordinate with. Our 2-year old broke something in the bathroom and there was no fuss made about it - which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

The security person was ready with the keys and facilitated access to the property without any issues. He also helped cover the taxi bill since I couldn't get smaller local currency notes to pay for it, and refunded him later.
