Beautiful location in the heart of the medina. The hotel is set in a beautiful historic house, rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is delightful, staff are very welcoming and helpful. The owner helped us to arrange a few day trips at an excellent price (we were very happy). We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is a spacious riad located inside the Medina. Very beautiful and new (in contrast to other hotels we saw sight seeing). The room is excellent, w/ a big bedroom and living room, with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Fruits and nuts were awaiting for us upon arrival. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is great, and local food is amazing. We loved it. A fine restaurant (maybe the best in Tunis) is just across the street. The hotel is located at 5/10 minute walking from several places to visit within the Medina, including several mosques and surks.

The location in the medina is great, close to everything. The house is lovely and comes with a generous breakfast and afternoon tea if you wish. Ahmed was a very helpful and charming host. I highly recommend it, although there is neither a patio or courtyard!

Do you want to step into past centuries and experience life in a vibrant Médina? Then this is the place. Its decor makes you feel you are living a luxurious life of an aristocrat of days gone by. Marouane and Chiraz, your hosts, treat you like family. Chiraz is a chef par excellence. Every breakfast was an elegant feast. Marouane is a great resource for sights and shopping. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate your every need. It was our first trip to Tunisia and due to the wonderful hospitality I know it won’t be the last.

The house looked gorgeous and clean, gave me the feeling of being at home, and was in a very convenient spot within the Tunisian Casbah. Amal the host was very accommodating, If you prefer to organize trips to view the gorgeous green Tunisia, ask her to arrange for you to be taken by L'aarbi or Wadii those guys were awesome and very welcoming!

Our stay at Ben Turkia was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond with their outstanding customer service. Everyone from reception to housekeeping was kind, professional, and always ready to help. The property is immaculate, and the entire place smells absolutely divine, with the refreshing scent of orange oil in every corner. It really adds to the relaxing atmosphere! Our room exceeded our expectations. The photos online truly don’t do justice. We were pleasantly surprised to find a separate room with two single beds for our children and a spacious primary bedroom upstairs in the loft. You can choose to have breakfast on the roof top, terrace or your room. Breakfast was amazing and always on time. There is always someone coming to check in and take your order for fresh juice / coffee & tea. This is perfect for families. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Medina and close to the mosque. While the narrow alleys can be tricky to navigate at first, the hotel’s reception and security team made sure we were guided in and out with ease. Highly recommend this beautiful and welcoming property for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and comfortable stay in the Medina! We ended up booking the hotel again on the way back to Tunis.

The staff were amazing -- examples include when my wife and I came in soaking wet from the rain, they brought us to the restaurant and offered us biscuits and tea; plus twice they accompanied me to the pharmacy when I had injured my foot. They treat their guests as family. Vintage historic palace property. Great location close to medina. Great onsite restaurant with attentive and caring server/ manager. Buffet breakfast was very good, as was the spa.
