The staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel was beautiful and well decorated. The room was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We were very happy here. Sunset viewing on site. Breakfast was excellent. Someone obviously put a lot of love into this hotel.

This hotel is a true gem - 5-star restaurant and cuisine, amazing location in Taiwan mountains, and authentic UK-style rooms (and the whole hotel). The hotel is beautiful, it is a local landmark - you see people making photos all the time. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they are really trying to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Interesting additional thing - apparently this hotel owner is into HiFi and music, rooms are equipped with high-end audio systems, and there is a special daily "music hour" in one of the entertainment areas. This hotel is an excellent choice for Taiwan people who want to get an experience of staying in an old-style fancy European hotel without travelling to Europe, but it is also just a good hotel to stay if you are visiting Taiwan mountains. While this hotel is not cheap, it gives you good value for money - room rate includes dinner (and breakfast), and this is true 5-course dinner, expertly prepared by a really good chef.

Clean, wooden interior, awesome views to the mountains, very quiet- no noise from the traffic, close to Skywalk, Swiss Garden etc. It’s one of our family’s favorite places to stay. Would love to book again! By the way, the room doesn’t have an air condition but has a fan (if needed to cool down the room more). They provide a heater in the bathroom. This can be used in the winter to warm up the living room area as well.

Saw other guests with dogs, the staff make treats from scratch (chicken/broccoli/carrots) for them. They also had many friendly dogs which were a hit with the kids. Very nice bathroom layout. Food provided is great, breakfast was the best.

This B&B (Misty Villa on Google maps is other name) is located in the perfect spot for a vacation in Ren'ai. The bus stop is right at the end of the street and you are close to restaurants and shops for dining and snacks. The Sky-walk and Cingjing farm is either 3 bus stops up road or you can walk there using the path and walkways from the hotel if you do not mind a bit of an uphill climb. All the rooms for this hotel have a fabulous view of the mountains and valley and both the sunrises and sunsets are fabulous. The rooms are very clean and have both AC and heat if needed and many have a balcony. The showers are hot with good water pressure. My room had a fridge for snacks and drinks. The manager, Nina, is fluent in English which made planning my day trips so much easier as she whatapp'd me maps and suggestions each day along with bus routes and times. Make sure you take the Sunrise trip with star gazing and she can arrange it for you for 550. As well as taking the bus up to Hehuanshan mountain for a few hours for some great views and hiking, Closer to the hotel, the local venue's are very affordable. Miru, the barista in the restaurant is also fluent in English and prepared my breakfast each day with a smile. I will definitely return to this property. Many of the other properties in this area do not offer English, so if you are not fluent in local language this is the place to come.
