Hotel Fahrnberger - Simply an Awesome Experience! Just got back from Hotel Fahrnberger and I gotta say - it was fantastic! Even though the buildings there are very old (foundations from the 14th century, they say), you'd never know it once you're inside. The rooms are clean, cozy, and the best part - you can sleep like a baby, no noise at all. Sauna Heaven After a day of skiing, nothing beats their wellness area. They have 3 different saunas and a nice relaxation room. And when you want to cool down? Just run outside into the snow! Bit of a shock, but the feeling afterward is amazing! And if the hotel's wellness area isn't enough for you, you can visit the nearby Ybbstaler Solebad baths (https://www.ybbstaler-solebad.at). The Food Was Amazing Breakfast? Awesome! The buffet had everything you could think of, and everything was fresh and tasty. The best part was being able to order eggs made any way you want - that was a great start to each day. The dinners were even better! We ordered those 4-course dinners and they were worth every penny. Something different every night and everything was so well prepared that we couldn't stop eating! Great Location The hotel is in a quiet spot, so no hustle and bustle. And what's great - the Hochkar ski slopes are super close. Morning to the slopes, evening back to the hotel, no long drives.

We spent in this beautiful hotel 3 nights. Everything was great. The staff was polite and very helpful. The local breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of food to choose from. The room was very clean, quiet at night with a nice view of nature. There was a hairdryer and shower gel in the bathroom. Both heating and Wi-Fi worked well. You can store your skis and ski boots in the room for these things on the ground floor of the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located if you want to go skiing at Hochkar. The journey takes about 10 minutes by car. The location is generally very quiet, we went to a shop or another restaurant in the neighboring towns. We also used the wellness area once and the sauna was great after skiing. Very nice and clean environment. We recommend this hotel.

This was a very nice "Bauernhaus" in a small place near Hochkar ski area. It was about 20 minutes to the top Hochkar Parking area. The apartment was very nice and cozy, clean a it had all we needed. The lady was super friendly. We would stay again.

It's a nice hotel in the middle of nature, close to many hiking routes. Very friendly staff. Great offering of sport infrastructure. Good breakfast.

Great place, the location is also amazing - beautiful view of the mountains and fog on them. I walked to the beautiful lake nearby to swim. That was an amazing stay. The kitchen was super clean and very cosy living room. So happy we chose this place for our stay!
