Set on 2 hectares of lovely gardens, Altona Garden Retreat offers a 2-bedroom unit in Spreyton. Devonport is 8 km from the property. There is parking available for trucks, boats and horsefloats.

The gardens are exceptional and made for a vibrant place to walk around. The owners were lovely. The facility suited us perfectly and is only a few minutes out of Spreyton.

The location is absolutely stunning, it’s the perfect place for a recharge and close enough to Devonport and Sheffield that you can go out for dinner or go to the beach. The staff were incredible and our fridges were stocked with necessities free of charge. Will be staying here next time we are in Tassie? 💚

Great spot with beautiful interiors. Enjoyed the stay, in quite riverview access from the backyard. Free extra activities like mini golf, food options in cafe (charge). They gave us complimentary coffee, which was very sweet gesture. Bathrooms were very big and comfy. The beddings were cozy and comfortable.

The breakfast provided was fantastic from fresh local eggs Bacon beautiful freshly baked bread Selection of Muesli and Juice was the perfect way to start the day of Adventure. The location was just far enough away from the main town to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to walk if you so desired and the History of the building added that extra charm. Its the details that Yvonne and Glen have provided that make this stay exceptional thank you!

Everything is perfect here! the house is so well decorated with historical feeling. I feel like going back to THE ERA OF VICTORIA. what's more, the breakfast is absuolutely the best here! Btw, something not good happened to us in the area across the river and we seeked help from Paul, he was so kind to help us! thanks a lot for his kindness!
