We went to Kazanlak for the Rose Festival and booked this accommodation in Shipka. The apartment is on the first floor and is about 300m from the Shipka bus station which we depended on because we do not drive. It is also right next to the Shipka Memorial Church and a restaurant is 10m from the apartment so it really is located in the prime spot. As far as the interior of the apartment is concerned, it is a mansion as the details of the decor suggests that the owners clearly have impeccable taste. The place is just elegant and the bed is super comfortable. There is a spacious living room and dining area. The coffee capsules the owner provided was also a nice touch. The bathroom comes with a large sink and the shower arrangement is very enjoyable. The apartment even comes with a sauna which we did not use and laptops are provided. There was also a DVD entertainment system and a gigantic TV. Everything about the apartment is a statement of quality and class. Being able to come back to an apartment like this after a long day is truly a treat. The owners are very kind people and did us a favor by taking us to Buzludzha and waited an hour for us for a small fee which we really appreciated.

- Staff very helpful - Very good restaurant (fortunately, as there is close to nothing around), even if maybe a little bit overpriced - very good location, in the middle of the forest (the hotel even provides a map for some trekking paths), and of course 5 mn to the monument

I was in the area to visit the Buzludzha Monument, and this hotel is right at the top of Shipka Pass, which means it was right at the start of one of the two roads up to the monument. I was there between seasons, and the proprietor basically opened up just for me, had a nice room waiting with a heater, and made me a lovely bowl of soup. Looks like this place would be super fun during trekking season, with a bar restaurant and game room, huge wood burning stove and pool table. Great off the beaten track experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It a small hotel offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The view from the restaurant and from our room was magnificent. At first the staff were friendly offering additional support because we were with an infant.

It was good value for the money, the owners and all the staff were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly, and the room was spotless. The food was tasty and affordable, the wi-fi worked well, and the view was beautiful. Perfect parking spots. We were there for the Rose Festival and I can say it's an ideal location, even though it's 50 minutes away from Kazanlak. I saw comments that the road leading there is not good but this is not true, we found it quite ok. The yard is generous and well-kept. We didn't see the pool (didn't ask where it was), so there's nothing to comment on.

It is in the mountains and did not expect to see beautiful Bungalows. Very clean and staff is like a family.
