Lovely hosts. The swiss chalet is beautiful and cozy. Beds are comfy. Super clean facilities. Location is ideal to get into Zurich. We cant recommend it enough. And our infant son slept better than he has anywhere on this trip. This is the 10/10 spot.

The Strand hotel in Schmerikon is located in a fantastic location directly on Lake Zurich. The accommodations has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only.

Had a very good experience at the property. More of home stay vibe than a hotel. Everybody connected to the hotel was very courteous and joyful. Well definitely come back again.

The apartment is newly renovated, stylish, and modern. With comfortable bedding, smart technology, and high-end kitchen appliances, it feels spacious and luxurious—like living in a premium home. Our entire family loved it! My wife enjoyed it so much that she often joked she'd rather stay in the apartment than join us on tourist outings. It's located in a safe, well-maintained small town with restaurants, shops, and supermarkets all within a 10–15-minute walk. I highly recommend this place, and we’ll stay here again when we return to Zurich.
