Jason was the perfect host. Welcoming and super helpful. Well decorated. Good selection for breakfast for a small hotel, with some western options available, along with good coffee. Not paper thin walls like many guests houses, so a good night's sleep was had!

It was wonderful to stay in an old house on Gulangyu. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts--simple, delicious, and served in a wonderfully cozy room full of plants and small animals. The small staff has a nice human touch. Great all around! I also liked that the windows were operable, and that there were several outdoor patios to enjoy the balmy weather.
