Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

Great value for money! The room was large yet cozy, simple in style and equipped with everything you need - heater, toiletries, electricity adapters, mineral water bottles and sparkling clean sheets and towels. The shower always had hot water and was convenient to use. Tenzing the owner spoke great English and was lovely and helpful.

July is an exceptional host! She basically helped us plan the full itinerary around Shangri-La and recommended the best restaurants in few minutes upon our arrival! She helped booking our tickets to Potatso and other places and shared precise location for bus stops and everything. Besides all this, her place is amazing, you feel like home. The rooms are huge and the garden is super bright and welcoming. Room amenities are also great. Her espresso machine was a luxury and the washing machine was a plus! I definitely recommend her place.
