We enjoyed very much our stay at Coco Beach Village which is located just 1 minute (by walk) from amazing Matapalo beach. Our room was spacious, very clean and all rooms are overlooking the beautiful garden with the nice pool. The owners David and Roja are both lovely. David even showed us the sloths on the beach and organised surf lessons with a great instructor. It is very quiet and perfectly located to easily reach all attractions of the surrounding (for example Manuel Antonio and Marino Ballena national parks) or just to spend a relaxing beach day (my wife got a 1 hour massage from a lady directly at Matapalo beach which was fantastic). In addition, also the breakfast was very nice.

Perfect location, close to the beach and the jungle just outside the window. Morning breakfast at the balcony with monkeys playing outside.

Beautiful beach. The villa we rented had vintage character and was clean and comfortable. Staff was super nice and kept us informed if there was something cool to see, such as monkeys, sloths,etc. Also very nice breakfast served outside each morning.

I was looking for a beautiful, quiet spot--away from tourist crowds--for a solo writing retreat. Helen and the staff at La Palapa could not have been kinder or more respectful of my need for solitude. The room was lovely and comfortable. Perfect for my needs ... exactly what I was imagining and more! The bath towels were the most luxurious of anywhere I have ever stayed in Costa Rica! The pool was so refreshing. I enjoyed long walks in the countryside. My time at La Palapa was pure delight. Pura Vida!

What a magical place. We went before Easter so it was quiet but in any case it is a small hotel so I don't think it can get very busy. From all the places we stayed in Costa Rica this was the BEST. The views and the set up was breathtaking.

We loved our stay at Casa del Toucan. The host is super friendly, our little hut had sooo much space and was super clean and comfortable and the location is awesome. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets from the infinity pool with a super affordable glass of wine. The perfect way to enjoy a sunset on our holidays!

Everything was amazing ! :) thanks for your hospitality, we felt like family. The white water rafting was really fun and safe. The night walk was stunning with a great guide. The activites are relatively cheap and great. We highly recommend the lodge. We also saw a caoti and tucans at the lodge!
