Host couple were extremely kind and service-minded. Was invited for a birthday drink and driven to the port at departure. Arranged a mountain tour with a private driver. The large room and lovely big terrace were very neat and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen. Everything spotless. Can warmly recommend this place.

It is a 3-storey building run by a very welcoming family. The breakfast is the best we have tasted in the whole island, with a lot of quantity and the quality was excellent (they made homemade sponge cake!!). The host family are very nice, friendly and welcoming. They are learning many languages, and try to speak to you in your own language. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and brand new (in fact, they are working on the upper floor to make more rooms). It is without a doubt, our most recommended stay in Cape Verde!!!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Paul, Pousada do Ceu is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Very friendly and helpful host, Due to a delayed flight Jan let us change our booking very obligingly. He gave us great tips for hikes and restaurants. The nice and clean room was even cleaned during our short stay. A nice terrace was available too. Anytime again!

I felt so lucky to have found this hotel in the beautiful Paul Valley. The view from our window is exceptional and it makes me feel so calm and energised. You can hear frogs and lots of different insects in the forest at night, which itself is calming. We also had a little visitor (owner’s cat) in the room. Amazing memories, will definitely come back again!

Super nice hosts. Breakfast was at the top and flexible between 7 and 9 with an omelet and plenty of cold fixings to fill one up. Arranged a shared taxi for my return trip to the airport that picked me up at the guesthouse. The room was large and fairly comfortable with nice hot water in the shower.

Great location in front of the beach and on top of it, it was a pleasure staying there and sleeping with the sound of the waves ! It's also very convenient to do all the hikes as a lot of collectivos (transport) goes from there thus we didn't need any car All the staff without exception were kind and amazing, helping us plan and organize our trip with tips and always there to answer our questions and provide assistance (thank you Jovi !) They also borrowed us sticks for hikes which saved our stay ! As we were planning to rent upon arrival in local shops but didn't find any Due to flight cancellation, we have not been charged the first night which was much appreciated Breakfast is very good and consistent
