I loved sound of water outside my bedroom window. The design is sweet with a first flare. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was without exception friendly, the are is beautiful!

Nice apartment with a well equipped kitchen, good beds, 43 inch smart tv and a nice view. Great hiking area. Konditorei and restaurant in 5 minutes walking. Gerne wieder.

Lovely apartment and had a good day exploring Gerolstein nearby. Apartment had everything needed plus great views! A very enjoyable stay.

It was easy however I did not receive the passcode from the owner even though I had mentioned about my arrival time and we had to wait for almost 45 mins outside the house/in the car. That was bit unsettling for my tired parents. I think it is more of an one off situation possibly but otherwise the owner came to assist with the WiFi connection too. Our son, accidently locked the door with keys on the door from inside while checking out and we could not drop the keys in the key holder. Informed the owner and he promptly responded later that it was not a problem. I will go back to this place when exploring this area again for sure.

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Perfect getaway from the city. House is easy to reach and near the center of the town. Great area for relaxing, hiking, nature. Forests and the river are very close by. Also a nice castle. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated and everything is super clean and well-organized. It's very charming and all the Hippos make it fun and more interesting. If you are lucky you will learn more about its surprising history. Amazingly kind and friendly hosts! 💙💚
